PM Receives Courtesy Visit from His Laotian Counterpart

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has received a courtesy visit from the Prime Minister of Laos Phankham Viphavanh on Monday afternoon at the Peace Palace. The Cambodian Prime Minister has warmly welcomed his counterpart from Laos while they were discussing bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between the two nations.

Prime Minister Hun Sen has posted on his Facebook page saying, “The official visit of His Excellency Prime Minister Phonkam Viphavan to Cambodia during the re-opening of Cambodia will contribute to further strengthening the friendship, solidarity, good neighborhood, long-lasting comprehensive strategic partnership and enhance cooperation between the two countries, as well as within the ASEAN framework for peace, stability and prosperity in the region.”

Laos Prime Minister Phankham Viphavanh will also pay a visit to King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace and will also meet with the Senate President Say Chhum as well as the National Assembly President Heng Samrin.
